The Morris Area Foundation Inc., now in its 7th year is pleased to announce its annual grant award recipients for 2020. A total of $10,000 was granted to 12 projects.
This year grants were awarded to:

Morris & District Centennial Museum– Heritage Walking Trails & Morris Drug Store Mural
Morris Manor – Building Improvements
Morris Dog Park – Dog Park
Rosenort Community Centre – Riverside Park Upgrade & Tree Planting along Perimeter Trail in Rosenort
Lutheran Church of the Cross – Smith Park Bell Tower
Youth For Christ Morris -Washroom Renovation
Valley Agricultural Society – Gathering of Nations Pavilion
Morris Minor Ball – Diamond Refurbishment
Youth in Philanthropy program in the Morris and Rosenort Schools
Since its beginning in 2013, the Morris Area Foundation has provided grants with the help of The Thomas Sill Foundation, Canada 150 and the Emergency Community Support Fund and generous support of past and current residents of almost $120,000 to area organizations. Morris Area Foundation Inc. is building a legacy for the communities we serve. The Foundation partners with donors to build permanent endowment funding tosupport projects in the area into the future.
The Morris Area Foundation Inc. covers the entire Rural Municipality of Morris including the communities of Rosenort, Lowe Farm, Aubigny, Sperling and the Town of Morris.
